It is said that art is a projection of what is in the soul. Maybe there is no other present-day contemporary artist that this statement befits more than the Los Angeles based painter, Paul Rusconi. Paul, who was born in Santa Cruz, California has literally been through hell and back but still stands tall and continues to do what he loves best. His revolutionary contemporary paintings have won him pretty accolades from around the world.

  2. A great artist who knows the pulse of the public • Unlike many other artists, Paul has found a unique niche and way of doing his paintings, which does not include oil on canvas. He has in essence digitized the art of painting with this revolutionary digital screening process. With photographs sourced from his photo shoots, contemporary magazines and well as popular culture, Paul uses nail polish, engine enamel, oil paint and monochromatic photography to breathe life onto the canvas. • Currently, Paul Rusconi has majored on pop culture iconography. He paints from his photographs and photographs sourced from popular magazines. As of very late, his most ardent fans are watching to find out whether he might decide to paint the cryptic portrait of Jared Leto who appeared in the sixth issue of the Candy Magazine and is slated to take a role in the upcoming movie ‘The Dallas Buyers Club’.
