  1. Payam Nia Mechatronics Architect of FILM Products at KLA

  2. Payam Nia completed his Ph.D. in 2014 in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University and is a mechatronics engineer. He has more than ten years of industrial experience in linear and non-linear systems modeling, multi-body dynamics analysis, sensor and actuator design, and sensor fusion.

  3. Payam Nia also had a chance to work on control systems, complex dynamics, and robotics. Furthermore, he has a very in-depth understanding of project lifecycle and project development techniques in an agile manner.

  4. Payam Nia is extremely passionate about designing products from concept to market and has a deep interest in working on motion and vibration control, robotics, and control algorithm design.

  5. Currently, Payam M Nia is working as a mechatronics architect at KLA. At KLA, his work majorly focuses on designing the mechanical/mechatronics architecture of semiconductor fabrication machinery. Not just this, but he has also led various reliability projects. He has developed a lot of technical skills over a period of time and is very passionate about his work.

  6. Apart from work he also likes cooking, playing guitar and volleyball. He is someone who enjoys nature and enjoys going on a hike.
