  1. What are we doing today? YB students I will log you on to STICKY NOTE pcs. NP students log on the pcs without STICKY NOTES. Period 2 7th graders will go to the Veterans Day Assembly Period 3 8th graders will go to the Veterans Day Assembly Rest of you will work on spreads or NP assignments.

  2. What are we doing today? NP – Articles are due Tuesday on Mr. Groff and his summer vacation YB – Articles are due Friday on Mr. Groff

  3. Common Errors I see with your spreads • I don’t see you printing out thumbnails before placing photos – YOU MUST • Once I approve your thumbnails and photo planning then you can place photos • Make sure you have people from all grades – boys and girls and diversity if it’s a general spread • For athletic pages use photos of A & B players and look through everyone’s photo files – not just YOUR photo files • We are seeking photos that tell a story

  4. Common Errors I see with your spreads • For athletic pages make sure you get the final scores from last 2 games and also get ALL players of the week – Check the links on the homepage • Make sure your photos relate to each other if photo boxes are touching – this type of design of photo boxes is called a module • Do not place random photos where we cannot see faces – The DOMINANT photo must tell the story on that page or be a part of the main story on the spread • Delete any photos that look just like the photo you pull for the yearbook spread you are working on – we do not want duplicate photos in the book

  6. PODs Wednesday, November 13 • PODs for Ms. Fowlers TWO plays – one is at 5 pm and a second play is at 6 pm Thursday, November 14 • PODs for SPOT – Delaney, Hanna S. Lila & Julia M.

  7. PODs for next week Spanish Club French Club Check the Cedar Valley website – main page for events Basketball Season starts next week • Need PODs for GBB7 and GBB8 • Hannah Walton is able to take all Boys Basketball game photos!
