  1. Article1: Pcbcart.com All About Electronics And Printed Circuit Boards A lot has evolved since humans began to manufacture goods of need. Manufacturing goods has meant that now we were no longer dependent on nature itself to provide us with things. Of course we get all the raw materials from the nature but we as a specie, have now reached a stage where we can mould things to create products to make our lives more convenient. We are talking about converting those raw materials into finished goods with finesse and state of the art technology. The use of electronic goods has changed the world dramatically. Electronics have taken over all the mechanical stuff and are here to stay. These devices, as opposed to the mechanical ones are much easier to maintain, easy to repair, accurate and precise in their work and above all cost-effective to manufacture and use. Today every aspect of our lives is in some way controlled electronically. PCB as we know stands for printed circuit boards. Printed circuit boards have taken over from the earlier methods of wiring the components of an electronic device. They have essentially allowed us to make electronic products more compact and lightweight as well as making them more robust and reliable. Printed circuit boards are actually boards made out of plastic substrates that are non-conductive that mechanically support the components on it while connecting them electrically with help of conductive tracks and pads that are etched on a thin copper laminate on the substrate material. Modern printed circuit boards even have active components embedded into them as a single piece in order to minimise the product size and weight while increasing the rigidity at the same time. Printed circuit boards can be either printed on the single side, double side (back and front) or can be multi-layered as well. This creates high density of components on the board, making the product size, cost and weight effective. All the devices we use today are smart and are partly so because of the printed circuit boards that they rely upon. Most of the consumer products we use today ie; induction cookers to smart televisions, all use printed circuit boards to do the job. Printed circuit boards have really made it possible for everyone to enjoy a piece of technology. There are many PCB design companies available all round the world that specialise in high quality printed circuit boards made to order. These companies have cost effective manufacturing procedures and precise skills to design the board according to manufacturer specifications. You can easily find one that is best suited for you by doing a simple enough internet research. Try to stick to the certified ones and the ones with a reputation. Electronics have revolutionised the wold for good and now more and more consumer products are converting from being mechanical to electronic. This is an even better time to do so as printed circuit boards have never been so cheap in the past.
