  1. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS “Many, O LORD my God are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us: There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count” (Psalm 40:5).

  2. Last Week in Lincolnton, NC • Churches few and mostly small in the state. • “Original” preacher. • His “replacement” • Dedication of the few (David) • 2 men, half a dozen women. • Bill came. Now mid 30’s to 40 on Sun. morning. • Because a group “struggles” doesn’t make us superior. • Struggle can be good.

  3. Our Blessings • Song leaders – plural. Various abilities, but all better than me. • Teachers – men and women. Developing for the future. • Preachers – supplementary personalities – the same heart. • Money – to further God’s work and relieve distress. Be tender. • Surrounded by strong groups. • No battles between young and older.

  4. Our Challenge • To remain strong. Develop young members. Teach individual activity. • To supply good members to other churches – not something I relish. • The battle with complacency. • Spiritual exhaustion. • To hold on and progress.

  5. Our Strength • Intelligence • Humor • The Word • The Savior – Phil 4:13.
