UPStrat-MAFA 3rd General Meeting Selfoss – Iceland 23-26 July 2013 The web site of UPSTrat-MAFA EU Project has been developed since March 2012, as required by Deliverable I3.1, at the address: http://upstrat-mafa.ov.ingv.it The website is hosted by a Server of Osservatorio Vesuviano Section of INGV and it was built up and developed by the “Working Group on WEB development” composed of: Fabio Sansivero (INGV) Gaetano Zonno (INGV) Simon Olafsson (EERC) UPStrat-MAFA Urban Disaster Prevention Strategies Using MAcroseismic Fields and FAult Sources

UPStrat-MAFA 3rd General Meeting Selfoss – Iceland 23-26 July 2013 Some technicalissues: the website is developed using Joomla, a free CMS (Content Management System) written in PHP which uses object-oriented programming(OOP) techniques and stores data in a MySQL/MS SQL database. Joomla can be customized with several plugins and modules in order to satisfy almost every need. The site have a public section, which can be viewed by everyone, and a registered section accessible by registered users only (Partners of the Project).
