Their contribution to the overall objectives of Store Support include creating the tools, communications, and Best Practices for the Field Team that will enable the achievement of the 3 major focuses for Store Support. The Retail Support coordinator will work with marketing, merchandising, and other cross-functional teams in creating the bi-monthly Seize the Day package, which markets seasonal and event based programs to our stores. They will also create the Store Support weekly newsletter, manage all feedback and images submitted from the Field Team, and create weekly Quick Wins and Merchandising Ideas. RETAIL MARKETING COORDINATOR Retail Operations Department, Store Support Toronto, Ontario – Summer 2009 Co-op Opportunity • RESPONSIBILITIES – Continued: • Assist in the marketing, communication, and roll-out of Retail Support initiatives • Create weekly newsletter for Field Team • Collect and manage weekly SSV submissions and pictures from the Field Team • Create weekly Quick Wins and Merchandising Ideas based on Field Team submissions • Assist in the development of Best Practices and training materials • Spend time working with stores and marketing teams in support of major projects and supporting execution guides • Manage upcoming Execution Guide list, and schedule and create Featured Highlights to help increase store awareness • Coordinate the distribution of monthly reporting to stores for supported projects • Assist in various ad hoc projects being led by the Retail Operations team • REQUIREMENTS: • Working towards a degree in Business with an interest/specialization in Marketing • Planning and prioritization skills • Customer focused • Results oriented • Excellent communication skills • Ability to be creative and think outside the box • Good PC skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher • Ability to work in a team and on own SUMMER 2009 CO-OP Opportunity APPLY ONLINE: campus.canadiantire.ca
