  2. How to Participate in the Webinar 1) Chat & Questions. If you do NOT have access to a mic and do not call in with a phone, you can use the Questions feature to type a question that you want to ask to the presenters. At the end of the presentation, the facilitator will read out loud any questions that come through this feature. 2) Raise Hand. For most of the webinar, all participants will be in listen-only mode, meaning they will be muted. When the presenter opens the floor for questions, people will not be unmuted unless they use the Raise Hand function.

  5. What are your first job requirements? • Role you will play (position responsibilities) • Type of Organization • Size of Organization • Location of Organization • Culture of Organization

  6. How do you find your 1st job?How does that job relate to where you are going in your career? Compile a list of companies that fit your 1st job requirements and include contact information when possible.

  7. Should you make… Telephone Contact? or Send an Email? This is a BIG DEAL!!!

  8. How do you find your 1st job?How does that job relate to where you are going in your career? Keep track via computer of all your contacts, emails, telephone and face-to-face conversations, and follow-up appropriately.

  9. Develop a Career Plan • In what job do you see yourself at age 50. • How and when to revise your career plan.
