Plug Compression Test Device

The compression test apparatus is designed to meet the test requirements of IEC60884-1 clause 24.5 & figure 8 and EN50075 clause 13.1 & figure 7 for checking the mechanical strength of socket-outlets and plugs. Place the specimen in position a), and 300N force is applied for 1 min. After then, place the specimen in position b), and again subjected to the 300N force for 1min. The specimen is removed from the test apparatus and after 15 min it shall show no damage within the meaning of this standard.
