  1. Aim: How do we accomplish our goals? Do Now: On separate sheet of loose leaf, answer the following? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? How do you plan to accomplish that? What is your main goal for this class? How do plan to accomplish this goal?

  2. Reminders! -Homework #1 is due tomorrow (9/12) -Diagnostic Test is Monday 9/16. -Put all backpacks, bags, etc., behind your desk.

  3. Solve: (3x3 + 3x2 – 4x + 5) + (x3 – 2x2 + x – 4) Step 1: Make the chart. Step 2: Align like terms.

  4. Step 3: Add like terms (Be careful of signs!)

  5. Together now! • (6x3 – 2x2 + 8x) – (4x3 – 11x + 10)
