  2. Grace: I ask for a profound gratitude for the gift of being called to the service of discerning leadership at this time in the history of CLC-USA.

  3. Prayer Lord Jesus, we ask you now To help us to remain with you always, To be close to you with all ardor of our hearts, To take up joyfully the mission you entrusted to us And that is to continue your presence And spread the good news of your Resurrection. (Carlo Martini, SJ)

When Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?“ They replied, "Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.“ He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?“ Simon Peter said in reply, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.“ Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. Mt 16:13-19

  6. Reflection What do I find most “life-giving” in the call to serve CLC-USA in this discernment process… To what degree do I find myself open to the guidance of the Spirit as we continue on this journey of re-organizing ourselves…
