  1. Each participating team sponsors a campsite to sell items, for example food or clothing and others provide a service, such as manicures. All profits support the American Cancer Society.

  2. Girls dressed in the 80’s theme to celebrate Relay for Life’s 25th anniversary.

  3. Cancer survivor Melanie Rutherford telling her story at the opening ceremony.

  4. A survivor and his wife walked together throughout the night.

  5. A participant signing the Fight Back banner in support of cancer awareness.

  6. Participants walking for Relay.

  7. A relayer dressed in 80’s theme, lighting the luminaries during the ceremony.

  8. Family and friends purchased luminaries to honor cancer survivors and to remember those who have died. Their names are read aloud during a ceremony.
