Lesson: Fruit Project • Objectives: Student is to complete a 6” X 6” painting of one item of fruit • Materials: 6” X 6” Canvas, Paint, Brushes • Focus/Model:Del Monte Fruit and Scott Guelcher’s Fruit Paintings. • Vocabulary: Texture, Still Life, Canvas, Stretcher Bars, Acrylic • Procedure: Student is to create a full color painting of one item of fruit with acrylic paint on a 6” X 6” canvas with an abstract background with texture as shown by example.
