  4. May 2011 The transport hub in the north of the country provides Russia with the free entrance to the vast waters of ocean. And in this situation creation of sea transport rout to the Western Europe and America is very profitably. This process becomes the reality just in case of presence of transport fleet specialized for Arctic regions,and exclusively Murmansk Shipping Company has it in its disposal in full.

  5. May 2011 The program "the Arctic bridge", stipulating the delivery of cargoes from Murmansk to Cherchill, is considered since 1990th years. Within the limits of the project it was supposed to increase volumes of transportation of hydrocarbonic raw material by ice class vessels from deposits of the Timano - Pechora province and Yamal peninsula, and also to organize deliveries of apatite-nepheline concentrate of JSC "Apatite"to Canada. By Murmansk shipping company has made the important step in business of creation of the transport corridor between Eurasia and Northern America. The voyage of motor vessel "Captain Sviridov " with cargo of mineral fertilizers has proved an opportunity of regular transportations to port Cherchill with use of ice class vessels.   13. May 2011 GENERAL CARGO CARRIAGE Apart from the Arctic, our vessels serve also the international trade on a wordlwide scale, being especially keen on coal, fertilizers, grain and ores. The special design of the vessels allows them to carry both general and bulk cargoes, while some ships (SA-15 type) are able to transport cars and trucks. All vessels can carry containers.
