  2. Summary Plants and Animals, the most important plants are Papyrus it was used to make everyday materials. It also represented lower Egypt. Lotus it represented Upper Egypt. Some important animals are, the Crocodile, the hippo because the ancient Egyptians ate Crocodile. The Hippo was the biggest animal in the Nile river they saw them as a Symbol.

  3. Hippo The hippo was called the water horse of the Nile River.

  4. Crocodile Crocodiles were the most feared of the Nile River they would eat people when they did laundry.

  5. Papyrus Papyrus made clothes, bags and shoes also paper.

  6. Lotus flower The lotus flower was the symbol of Lower Egypt.
