  1. Blog 2: Petiteschoolhouse.com Types of Services Provided by a Child Care Centre A good child care centre makes it easy for parents to concentrate on their jobs and businesses since they know that their children are well cared for. This is one of the major reasons why parents love to research a lot and discuss amongst their friends for the best child care centre for their kids. Since internet is a huge source of information, parents love to go online and check preschool and child care center in Northridge for their kids. Before they make their choice, they ensure that they look at the services provided by each one of the child care centres in their area and compare them. Here are the types of services provided by reputed child care centres: Many day care centres run summer camps for children of different ages. Children get to play with their friends in the pool and also enjoy scavenger hunts and other activities. This makes sure that children do not fall off their eating, napping, and learning routine even when they are not going to school. Since the working hours of most of the parents do not change during summer, summer camps help them keep their children entertained and looked after even when they have to be at work. Toddlers love to spend their time playing with blocks, being read stories to, as well as exploring their surroundings. Working parents can find it difficult to keep the toddlers on schedule since toddlers are more likely to throw tantrums at home. At child care centres where the staff is trained to take care of toddlers, these children learn to understand words, follow directions, play with other kids their age, and stay on schedule. Many child care centres offer special services for grade schoolers. These children learn how to communicate and play with others and also learn new things since they need to get ready for school. Staff at day care centres can keep them busy in colouring projects, clay modelling, drawing, or group games. This makes them become more independent and get prepared for school. Some day care centres offer services in which they take care of the children after work hours or on special days. Many of them also have trained staff to administer medication to children who are sick based on the request of the parents. These services are helpful for parents who work long hours.
