  2. O GALLUSU • 25. junij 1550-18. julij 1591 • Celo ime: Jacobus Gallus CarniolusHändl • Šolanje: samostan v Stični in samostana Melk in Zwettl • Poklic: skladatelj in kantor

POVZETEK ŽIVLJENJEPISA • Gallus se je izobreževal v Stični ter Melku in Zwettlu • V mladoletnih letih je potoval po nižji Avstriji • Svojo pot je nadaljeval v Prago kjer je napisal zbirke motetov in madrigalov • V pragi se je prvič zaposlil kot kantor(sv. Janez) nato je začel tiskati in ustvarjati svoje skladbe • Pred smrtjo so njegovi prijatelji in Sazu naredili zbirko 20 zvezkov v katere so napisali vse njegove skladbe

  4. NJEGOVA DELA • Opus musicum: zbirka 374 motetov • Harmoniaemorales: 53 madrigalov • drugi madrigali

  5. MOJE MNENJE • Skladatelj zanimiv, zelo uspešen,(Cankarjev dom),Carniolus (slovenec) ZANIMIVOSTI -2 leti pred smrtjo jje izdal še zadnjo zbirko motetov -priimku je dodal carniolus ( kranjec ) hotel je ponazoriti slovenski izvor
