  1. MIRP Operations –5-7/2016 • Safety • Tour at BLIP last Friday by General Klotz • Tour at BLIP May 23rd, Cherry Murray • Annual Review for Ac-225 July 27th and 28th • Production • 6th set of RbCl targets pulled out April 27th @ 1125 • Processing started May 5th • Received leftover Sr-82 from LANL for blending last week • 7th set of RbCl targets to run from April 27th – May 18th • Packaging Sr-82 this Friday • Proceeding with fabrication of new Ga targets for Ge-68 production Cathy Cutler 2016

  2. BLIP Target Data– 5/2016 • 7th Set of RbCl Targets (BWK and BWL) • Total Accumulated uA/hr as of 5/9/16 @ 23:59 –45,508.80 • Total Hours – 291.12 • Average Current – 156.33 uA/hr • SOB- 4/27/16 @ 1125.... EOB- 5/18/16 0900 Cathy Cutler 2016

  3. TPL Operations– 5/2016 • TPL Maintenance • Finishing work on ventilation – waiting on final calibration • Vendor to repair D-tank sensors • Lab 2-59 hood is back in service • BLIP Maintenance • Maintenance day May 17th • F&O preformed PM on BLIP chiller

Research- 5-7/2016 • Research • Normal Thorium target late June to July timeframe. • Nick Simos Mo-graphite targets will be run behind the thorium targets and possibly 3 additional weeks at 160 MeV • Thorium foil run for research, 0.5 hr run, immediately before normal thorium run • Large Thorium target test run, cook and look highest current • Sc target run behind the thorium target in the C slot for duration of thorium run.

Research- 5-7/2016 • Research • May 18th;cross section study of Se-72 and Ge-68 production of GaAs targets, stacked targets, a single irradiation at incident LINAC 117 MeV, energy on target will be tailored using beam degraders, for 2 hr 40 uA unrastered beam. • June 8th; GaAs target run as beam degrader for RbCl targets to assess Se-72 production at LINAC energy of 117 MeV energy on target will be tailored using beam degraders. • Mid-July; As target run as beam degrader for RbCl targets to assess Se-72 production at LINAC energy of 117 MeV energy on target will be tailored using beam degraders. • June-July; 2 Zinc foils, dedicated run at incident 117 MeV energy on target will be tailored to 108 and 45 MeV using beam degraders.

Research- 5-7/2016 • Research • Mid June-July 31; W and Os targets, multiple irradiations (5-8) at incident LINAC 66 MeV, energy on target will be tailored using beam degraders, for 0.5-1 hr 40-TBD uA unrastered beam. • July; Large Zinc target, incident 140 MeV • Total projected (Mid-May thru July): • Foils: 2 • Bolted Aluminum: 11 • Parasitic w/RbCl/Thorium: 4
