The West The Rocky Mountains, unspoiled nature popular for hiking and camping, Spanish missionaries first, Native American reservations, wild west, cowboys, Silicon Valley (high-tech industry), California (film industry, Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge), Death Valley (86m below sea level), mostly semi-arid plateaus and plains (tornadoes, buffalo) Utah (Monument valley, Navajo). Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming can be considered part of the Northwest.
