  4. Workbooks • Each student is issued a Homework Workbook AND a Lab Manual • Homework in one or both of these almost every night • Must be replaced if lost

  5. Tutorials • (You MUST have a pass from your teacher) • AM = 8::15 – 8:45 PM = 4:00 – 4:30 • Monday AM – Mr. Brooks – rm. 229 PM – Ms. Moore – rm. 204 • Tuesday AM – no tutorials PM – Ms. Moore – rm. 204 • Wednesday AM – Mrs. Schwartz – rm. 239 PM - no tutoring • Thursday AM – Mr. Reed – rm. 242 PM – Ms. Collier – rm. 244 • Friday AM – Ms. Collier – rm. 244 • PM – no tutorials

  6. Classroom Rules Follow all school rules Be respectful and responsible for your actions Seek my permission before speaking and leaving your desk Come to class on time and be prepared I will dismiss you, not the bell

  7. Odds & Ends No gum, food, or drinks in the room All work must be shown in order to get credit All four on the floor

  8. Discipline Plan If you choose to misbehave in class: Step 1: I will attempt to redirect your behavior Step 2: I will conference briefly with you in the hallway Step 3: We will call your parents and step a plan of action Step 4: You will receive a referral to the office

  9. Rewards Verbal Acknowledgment Homework pass Lunch with the teacher “Good” phone call home Free time as time permits Last 5 - 10 minutes of a class Stop all instruction & play math games

  10. Grading Guidelines 60% tests and projects 30% daily work (quizzes, warm-ups, class work, etc) 10% homework

  11. Test Days for math are: Tuesdayor Friday

  12. Homework No homework on test days Homework must be completed for credit If absent, student is to get missing assignment from me, a friend, the board, or my website Makeup work is expected to be turned in within the same amount of days that were missed
