Projects for the Promotion of EE and RES in Slovakia Introduction of Energy Centre Bratislava • Energy Centre Bratislava (ECB) was established in 1993 within EC programme THERMIE • Since 1999 ECB has been an independent, not-for-profit association • Mission: the promotion and support of energy efficiency and improvement of environmental protection in Slovakia through activities in the main fields: - Rational Use of Energy (RUE) - Promoting the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) Marcel Lauko, Energy Centre Bratislava, e-mail: lauko@ecb.sk
