The Role of the Dartmoor Rescue Group: 24/7 Search and Rescue Operations

The Dartmoor Rescue Group (DRG) operates as a vital resource for police and emergency services, available 24/7, in all weather conditions. Comprised of experienced teams across Dartmoor, including Ashburton, Okehampton, Plymouth, and Tavistock, we respond to 999 calls from Devon & Cornwall Police. Our skilled members, trained in search planning, navigation, and first aid, work to locate and assist those in distress on the moors. We also emphasize preparation and safety for those exploring Dartmoor.
