Federal Program Funding • Section 5303 (Urbanized Planning Assistance) • Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) • $1.8 million/Allocation formula approved by FTA • Projects must be in Unified Planning Work Program • Section 5304 (State Planning Assistance) • INDOT Planning • $400,000/Must be in State Planning Research Program • Funds are transferred from FTA to FHWA • Consolidated Planning Grant (CPG)
