How many fish can you catch in our water tray? Have a go at measuring! How tall are you? Could you think of a way to measure your teacher? Can you spot any numbers on your way to Nursery? Communication, Language and Literacy Come and share the story of Titch and lots more stories and rhymes. Become a letter and sound detective! Share your stories and ideas with your friends and listen to their exciting news. Have fun making marks and writing your name, a shopping list, a book or a card. Could you send a letter to someone special in your family? Personal, Social and Emotional Development Welcome to Nursery – a great place for making friends, thinking about each other and playing and sharing together! Lots of time to play and explore new activities and past favourites! Let’s think about how special your family is. Tell your friends about how you have fun with your family at home. Talk to your family about the fun you have with your friends at Nursery. Knowledge and Understanding of the World Let’s find out all about me! What can my body do? How does it work? Time to think about how we are the same and how we are different. Time to discover how different families enjoy celebrating together and why. Can you find some photos of your family celebrating together. Creative Development Become an Autumn Colour Magician! Have fun mixing new colours, printing and model making! Play at families in our Home Corner! Make believe at Kyson Post office , Kyson Hairdressers and many other exciting places! Enjoy learning new songs! Can you make a picture out of leaves in your garden? Physical Development Time to have fun making our bodies strong and healthy - riding bikes, climbing, running and jumping outside. Time to develop strong hands – shaping play dough, threading, painting and lots more! Time to enjoy P.E. – playing games together, balancing, throwing and catching. Why don’t you have fun stamping through the Autumn leaves as a family!
