This week, students will explore 15-20 new medical terminology concepts focusing on English-to-Latin and Latin-to-English translations. Flashcards, due on Friday, will help reinforce these terms, accounting for 30 points. A quiz, also on Friday, will assess understanding of both this week’s and last week’s terms for a total of 40 points. Students will learn to recognize, create, and match medical terms while gaining insight into important prefixes, root words, and suffixes that form the basis of medical vocabulary.
