  1. Singing As Worship “Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name” (Heb. 13:15).

  2. Men Have Said: • “Each man does his utmost in singing what will be a blessing to all. Psalms are sung in the home and rehearsed on the streets. A psalm is learned without labor and remembered with delight. Psalmody unites those who disagree, makes friends of those at odds, brings together those who are out of charity with one another.” (St. Ambrose) • “The fineness which a hymn or psalm affords Is, when the soul unto the lines accords.” (George Herbert)
