  2. Briefing Purpose • Briefly explain the need and benefit of CCL. • To identify who will be affected by this CCL Implementation. • What you will need to be CCL capable. • To summarize Oklahoma’s CCL Implementation schedule. • To explain what steps all users must take to ensure they are ready for implementation.

  3. Need for CCL & Benefit of CCL • DoD computer networks are continual targets of malicious attacks intended to disrupt operations or learn of our plans. • The most common means of unauthorized entry into DoD networks is via stolen Log-in name and password. These can be stolen remotely by hackers, as well as by careless work habits. • Using a physical device (your CAC card), and a PIN of your choosing significantly reduces the chance for unauthorized access to DoD computer networks. • The CAC / PIN combination is next defensive measure to be implemented to protect DoD computer networks.

  4. Who Will Be Affected By CCL • All account holders in the OK Domain, to include: Army AGR Army Dual Status Technicians Army Non-Dual Status Technicians Air Guard AGR and Techs (on OK Domain only) State Employees Contractors Traditional Members with established accounts All other Traditional Members, Retirees and others will be added at a future time TBD by NGB.
