  1. BILL BUSTERS LTD Manufacturers of Beautiful Handmade Wooden Bill Pal Holders By Dillon Pender and Dylan Keating St. Fintina’s Post Primary Longwood

  2. PRODUCT This is a sample of our product. This product is a very useful item for any house, as it allows you to organize and store your bills, calculate your bills, and write your cheque.

  3. Formation • We set up Bill Busters Ltd at the end of September 2010and we continued trading until June 2011. Our customers were teachers, students in our school, their parents and residents from our local area. We also sold at the County Finals to people from Meath. • Our raw materials were quite expensive and due to this we did not make the profits we would have liked to. We would advise students this year to take care with your costing and make sure you get to make a decent profit, as you will put a lot of work into the company. We purchased gold pens on holders, gold paper clips, wood, and solar powered calculators.

  4. The Production ProcessHere is Dylan cutting the actual shape into the wood.

  5. Promotion • We promoted our product by putting up posters in our school and around our local area. • We went door to door in our local estates and showed a sample of our product, and we took orders. We made the order forms in computer class. • We also sold at the school open night, at the school show, and during open nights.

  6. Conclusion • We really enjoyed the whole process of setting up the mini-company. We made a small profit, and we really enjoyed representing Meath at the All Ireland Finals in Croke Park. We also enjoyed the day selling our product in the shopping centre in Navan. This was at the county final, and we won a nice prize.
