  4. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Basic Understanding of the Philadelphian Church Period: • It is really nothing more than the King James Bible getting into the hands of the Bible believers, and them taking it to the ends of the world. • Whereas the domination of the RCC during the Thyatira and Sardis Church periods threw the world into utter darkness, with the entrance of the King James Bible into the world, it threw the world into blazing light!

  5. (Rev 3:8) I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

  6. England’s motto • “Sun never sets on the British Empire.” • England becomes ruler over 25% of the land mass of the Earth. • Over 700 thousand people become British citizens Great Britain

  7. They spread the English language throughout these territories by missionary out of their country, taking the KJV and teaching them to read and to know God. • This Island Country that is no bigger than Georgia, was used by God to reach the world for Christ, as long as they had a love for the word of God (key of David) Great Britain

  8. 5600 years this land has been basically untouched and full of natural resources, and wide open. • (Est 4:14) For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? United States

  9. Spain went to the south (Mexico and South America) for the Gold and the RRC. followed them. • Francewent to the north (Canada) for the fur And the RRC went with them. • England went to the middle (USA) for the Gospel and the RRC bow down to them. (vs.9) United States

  10. (Gen 9:25-27) And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

  11. The key Players in the church age: • Count Zinzendorf • Richard Baxter • George Fox • John Bunyan • John Edwards • John Wesley • George Whitfield • Adoniram Judson • George Mueller • David Livingstone • Hudson Taylor

  12. All of these men served in the greatest time of God’s power in church history and never did any of these men speak in an unknown tongue, or exercise the gift of healing. They just believed God and Preached the Word of God

  13. All of these men had one book! KJV

  14. PHILADELPHIA

  15. LAODICEA

  16. (Rev 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

  17. WHY DID THE DOOR CLOSE?

  18. P H I L A D E L P H I a • What actually opened the door was 2 English speaking nations got the King James Bible in their hands and they fell in love with it, and it became the “key of David” in their hands to unlock the spread of the Gospel into the nation across the globe. • So if the “Door” was open through that Book what do you think closed the “Door”?

  19. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Satan has always countered and counterfeited the movement of God. • What he was unable to accomplish through physical persecution, he has accomplished through: • Counterfeit Bibles • Religion • Education

  20. THE RISE OF THE AMERICAN OCCULT

  21. Occult: The word occult comes from the Latin word occultus (clandestine, hidden, secret), referring to "knowledge of the hidden".[ Cult:

  22. JESUITS

  23. P H I L A D E L P H I a • In1534 Satan used a man named Ignatius de Loyala to found a RCC group known as “The Society of Jesus”, known as the Jesuits. • They are a highly trained militant group of educators of the RCC • Satan is going to use these group of men to infiltrate every protestant • seminary school for the next 100 years. • They also infiltrated many of the secular colleges in Europe and the U.S.

  24. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Today there are 20,000 Jesuits educators in Americas education system. • Every major dictator of the 20th century was directly influenced by the Jesuits • Hitler • Stalin • Linen • Castro • Mussolini

  25. Campbellism

  29. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Basic Beliefs: • Jesus was brothers with Satan • Jesus will return to Independence Missouri, not Jerusalem • They base their belief on the Book of Mormon, which was translated from the Golden Tables that the Angel left in a cave for Joseph Smith.

  30. Seventh Day Adventist

  31. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Mary Ellen White and William Miller • Founded 1848 • Basic Beliefs: • You work your way to heaven by observing Jewish signs that are giving to Israel • They believe that to worship on Sunday is what the Bible refers to as “The mark of the beast”

  32. P H I L A D E L P H I a • State of the dead. Seventh-day Adventists believe that death is a sleep during which the "dead know nothing" (Ecclesiastes 9:5). This view maintains that the person has no conscious form of existence until the resurrection, either at the second coming of Jesus (in the case of the righteous) or after the millennium of Revelation 20 (in the case of the wicked). Because of this view, Seventh-day Adventists do not believe hell currently exists and believe further that the wicked will be destroyed at the end of time.

  33. Christian Science

  34. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Founded by Mary Baker Eddy in Boston in 1866 • Basic Beliefs • The fundamental distinctive teaching of Christian Science is that creation is entirely spiritual and perfect and matter does not exist. Sin, sickness and death also do not exist; we only think they do. "The only reality of sin, sickness, or death is the awful fact that unrealities seem real to human, erring belief, until God strips off their disguise" (Science and Health, 472:27-29).

  35. P H I L A D E L P H I a • These core teachings are encapsulated in the "Scientific Statement of Being," which is read at every church service: • There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. • All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. • Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. • Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. • Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. • Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual. (S&H 468)

  36. Jehovah’s Witnesses

  37. P H I L A D E L P H I a • Founded by Charles Taze Russell in 1877 • Basic Beliefs: • Christ is a created being and that he was Michael the Arch Angel • Salvation is by works • Believes there is no Hell • Famous for prediction of the Lord’s return

  38. THE LEAVING OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE

  39. P H I L A D E L P H I a • In 1850 The Jesuits of England started to call for a new English version of the Bible. • Their reason was to update the Language • And the fact that there were recent discoveries….

  40. SINAITICUS

  41. Pergamos P H I L A D E L P H I a H • This manuscript was found by a German liberal that study older manuscripts named Tischendorf. He found this in a Monastery on Mount Sinai in 1844. He was not able to fully receive it 1862

  42. VATICANUS

  43. Pergamos P H I L A D E L P H I a H • This manuscript was found in the library of the Vatican in 1473 by Jesuit Priests • During the mid nineteen century Tischendorf became aware of an ancient manuscript in the Vatican library. This later became known as the Vaticanus

  44. Pergamos P H I L A D E L P H I a H • In 1881 when B.F. Westcott and F. J. A. Hort released their Greek New Testament witch was built on the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts, England switched from the KJV Bible to the Revised Version of the Bible. • This bible was translated from the linage of Greek manuscripts that go all the way through the RCC to , to Eusuebuis, Pamphilus, to Origen

  45. P H I L A D E L P H I a • In 1901 America published the “American Standard” bible. This is the Bible that scholars say is the most (so-called) accurate • We went from believe that God had given every man the Word of God to us trusting scholarship to tell us what is the “real” truth is and the “Shut the Door”

  46. Concerning the Deity of Christ "He never speaks of Himself directly as God, but the aim of His revelation was to lead men to see God in Him." (Westcott, The Gospel According to St. John, p. 297). "(John) does not expressly affirm the identification of the Word with Jesus Christ." (Westcott, Ibid., p. 16).

  47. Concerning the Scriptures: "I reject the infallibility of Holy Scriptures overwhelmingly." (Westcott, The Life and Letters of Brook Foss Westcott, Vol. I, p.207). "Evangelicals seem to me perverted. . .There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, especially the authority of the Bible." (Hort, The Life and Letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort, Vol. I, p.400)

  48. Concerning Hell "(Hell is) not the place of punishment of the guilty, (it is) the common abode of departed spirits. (Westcott, Historic Faith, pp.77-78)

  49. Concerning Creation "No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis, for example, give a literal history. I could never understand how anyone reading them with open eyes could think they did." (Westcott, cited from Which Bible?, p. 191). "But the book which has most engaged me is Darwin. Whatever may be thought of it, it is a book that one is proud to be contemporary with..... My feeling is strong that the theory is unanswerable." (Hort, cited from Which Bible?, p. 189)

  50. Concerning the Atonement "I confess I have no repugnance to the primitive doctrine of a ransom paid to Satan. I can see no other possible form in which the doctrine of a ransom is at all tenable; anything is better than the doctrine of a ransom to the father." (Hort, The First Epistle of St. Peter 1:1-2:17, p. 77).
