  1. Hi I'm David I’m going to talk to u about black Saturday bushfires.ok. Black Saturday

  2. How many animals died? • The exact numbers are unknown, but it is documented that many farm animals and pets did indeed die along with their owners from the Black Death. That would put the probable death toll for animals in the millions.

  3. How did it start? • In February 2010, the Royal Commission into the Black Saturday bushfires officially blamed faulty power lines and an incorrect fitting which caused the power lines to fail, for starting the worst of the fires, the one which killed 119 at Kinglake.

  4. Info about black Saturday • Black Saturday started on 7th of February to 14th of March. It went for a month and 7 days!!!! It burned over 4,500 km. The bushfires in Victoria have claimed more than a 2000 homes and we have a death toll nearing 200 with more expected as authorities enter ruined towns. With fires already burning, conditions on Saturday made it worse. • Black Saturday was recommended the hottest day, the temperature reached 46.4 degree Celsius meaning many residents didn’t stand a chance due to extreme hear and strong winds. Hundreds of fires burn out of control, leaving only destruction, emergency services where stretched to the limit.

  5. How has it changed the Australian Identity? It changed the Australian identity by making it the hottest day on record, so it’s going to stay in the world record 2009 book forever and it was the worst bushfire ever.
