WORLD LITERATUREMARCH 15, 2012 As you enter, I’ll stamp Act IV/Act V questions (completed ones only!) Let’s hear our group presentations! (2 minutes per group.) We’ll start with our THEME group. You may want to TAKE NOTES on groups as they present (you can use their ideas on your midterm short responses…)
REMINDERS • Hamletmidterm will occur on Monday. • You may use your Hamlet Study Worksheet AND a Hamlet textbook. • Make sure to study every handout that you’ve been given, including: • ALL Act packets (all parts of all act packets) • ALL soliloquy worksheets • Shakespeare notes • Hamlet Study Worksheet

HAMLET MIDTERM REVIEW Groups 1-5: a. Quote two examples of the literary technique that you think are MOST IMPORTANT to understanding the play (write them down). b. After each example, explain the importance (write down your group’s analysis of each one). c. Write down the overall importance of the technique in the play.
HAMLET MIDTERM REVIEW Groups 6: a. Find two examples of important soliloquies b. In 3-4 sentences, summarize each soliloquy. c. Explain the overall importance of soliloquies in the play.
HAMLET MIDTERM REVIEW Groups 7-9: • Use the REVISED Hamlet Study Worksheet to analyze at least two (either two conflicts, two characters or two themes). • Do exactly as the REVISED Hamlet Study Worksheet asks you to do, but do it on the poster (find evidence, explain evidence, etc.)
