2. 9/11 • Nine eleven was a terrorist attack against the united states on September 11th • Two seven forty sevens were flown into the twin towers and many other location • Bush given permission to use force against the terrorist • The Afghanistan war begins

3. First steeps • With help from other countries freezed assets of suspected terrorist’s • Bush began to attack al-Qaida camps • Stated bombing the tibain and sending relief to local afghan forces fighting against the terrorist’s • Begin searching for weapons of mass destruction • In 2002 asked Iraq to give up the weapons of mass destruction and hoped to get him to give up in supporting terrorist’s

4. Continuing the fight The us had many alias in this war which included France, England, Australia and Canada The goal of the war was to stop the terroist control of the countries and to find the people responsible for the 9/11 attack

5. The hunt for Osama bin laden • Pinned as the head of al-Qaida was the nitrous Osama bin laden • After withdrawing most of the united states forces there was still a serch for this man • Before we could search for him many people wanted undeniable proof of bin laden's involvement • He was found and killed on may 2 2011

6. How the war affected America • The war with Afghanistan really affected the way we fight wars. It introduced a lot more propaganda within the united states in hope to secure and maintain the peoples belief that the war was a good thing. It also drastically changed our tactics. We no longer could overwhelm our enemies but we had to be mindful because the enemy solders were hiding in civilian populated areas. It in turn made the united states focus on small precise strike forces though densely populated areas
