Banjo Paterson Andrew Barton “banjo” Paterson was born on February 17,1864, at Narrambla, new south Wales, Australia. He began school in a small country town and was later sent to Sydney to live with his grandmother and finish his schooling After school he became a clerk in solicitor’s office and became a solicitor in August 1866.
