Overview of Terms of Reference • Authority • NTHMP mechanism to provide input to the NOAA Operational Tsunami Warning System. • Carries out NTHMP strategies related to the format and dissemination of tsunami warning center products. • WCS decisions achieved by consensus of state EM reps., TWCs, and NWS regional program leaders.

Overview of Terms of Reference • Chairpersons • Approved by a majority of the NTHMP Coordinating Committee • Initiated 11/2005 • Paul Whitmore first chair in February, 2006 • Chip McCreery/Jim Goltz added as Co-Chairs in 11/2007 • Communications • Meetings held in conjunction with NTHMP annual meeting. Other meetings held as necessary. Inter-meeting communications conducted via email. • Notes and Actions maintained by Chairs.
