ENLISTING DIASPORA IN MALARIA CONTROL Action 2: Symposium on Malaria and the African Diaspora - Achievements Plenary session and 5 Workgroup (breakout) discussions: Dialogue between diaspora and malaria control stakeholders –LSHTM, London Malaria Group (PHE, DoH and a collection of diaspora organisations.) Development of targeted malaria campaigns aimed at VFRs, say in summer and Christmas period. Strategic engagement with the media e.g. Guardian, BEN TV, and other diaspora community newsletters Researching innovative financing instruments to support diaspora action against malaria.
