  3. HABITAT If you are going to keep a Leopard Gecko then you will need a substantial home for it to live in. You need a glass or plastic box measuring 16 by 11 inches. You would also need hides (which can be made out of anything). One of the hides has to be a moist hide. You also need a heat mat and the temperature has to be 84 - 88 degrees °F 28.8 – 31.1 °C.

  4. WHAT IT EATS Leopard Gecko’s have a wide range of insects they can eat. They eat insect larva like meal worms. They also eat crickets moths and spiders.

  5. How it protects it’s self Leopard Gecko’s can protect themselves against predators by loosing their tail and shedding their skin to loose their scent. They have really good senses of smell, sight, hearing and taste. Their skin color helps them to camouflage. They spend most of the time in underground burrows to escape the heat and predators.

  6. HOW IT REPRODUCES • Baby hatchlings are born from eggs. • The female will lay eggs 21-28 days after mating and 45-60 days after the eggs are laid little droplets are formed on the egg shell. • The shell will shrink and practically collapse these are signs that the egg will hatch.
