These organisms belong to the phylum Mollusca. • Although most species live in the ocean, others live in freshwater and moist terrestrial habitats.

Radula • A radula (RA juh luh), located within the mouth of a mollusk, is a tonguelike organ with rows of teeth. The radula is used to drill, scrape, grate, or cut food.
