  3. Revision: Computer Hardware • Do you remember the 3 stages of a computer operation process? • Do you remember hardware devices in each of the stage?

  4. Use of Aerodrive • Webpage: student.sbc.edu.hk • Login name: your student id card number • Login password: 123456 • What can you do? • Create your own folder for file storage (private) • Create your own webpage (Public_html) • Submit your assignment (Submit)

  5. Computer Software • Do you know how computer software are classified? • System Software • Operation System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, MacOS etc. • Application Software • Can be divided into different types • Group Activities!!

Application Software • There are five types of application software: • Word Processing (Group 1) • Spreadsheet (Group 2) • Presentation Software (Group 3) • Image editing software (Group 4) • Communication software (Group 5) • Divide into 5 groups each 4 members • Each student should use the Powerpoint to record • The name of software • The image of the software • Upload to the Aerodrive • Filename: class + classnumber + name.ppt • Example: 1D01chanchungyan.ppt
