  1. Get yourself organised! Use your booklet check list to make sure you have all you need and that they are all completed. Your GCSE text book can help here. Re-do topic tests to focus your revision use the end of unit tests for this. Check the CCEA website for exam technique and advice. Check the CCEA website for examples of good answers. Check the CCEA website to test your knowledge with past papers and mark schemes Detail - make sure you include all the detail you can in the short questions with examples where possible. Highlight key words! And make sure your answers address every aspect of the long questions. Note the command words – these will guide your answer. See your list. Read over your work! Try to allow 5 – 10 mins at the end of the exam to check your answers. If you don’t ask, you don’t get! Don’t forget that you’re not alone – your HE class teacher will be happy to help if they see you trying. Ask any HE teacher to help and they will if you are doing something to help yourself!
