  2. Setting • The setting is in the movies, church, and the alley. If they didn’t have the alley they would have been caught by the cops and the story would be really short. The church is important because that’s where they were brave and Jonny died. The movies are important because that’s where they get their spy.

  3. Characters

  4. Conflict • This story is man vs. man. The socials and the greasers fight, and even sometimes kill each other. They fight because they are different so they jus don’t get along.

  5. Summary of Plot • There are two groups, the socials and the greasers. These two groups hate each other so they fight and sometimes kill each other.

  6. Theme • Its not always good to be a hero. • Jonny ended up in the hospital. 126 • Jonny became very sick in the hospital. 154 • Jonny dies. 170

  7. Point of View • It is written in first person, if they changed it the book would be to long so it would describe too many people. The book is great the way it is they did very good on the point of view.

  8. Symbolism • This story is very weird and unusual . This story is cool but weird at the same time. It is very interesting because everything is different and unexpected. And there is a lot of fighting in this story so lots of anger.

  9. Recommendation • The book is based on what you like. You might like it because there are fights, deaths, even blades in this book so it is a very interesting.
