  2. KUARI PASS - YOUR PASS TO THE HIMALAYAS 7 days, 6 nights Detailed Itinerary Arrive in Haridwar, a bustling pilgrim township on the banks of the Ganga. Transfer to the Ramni village. It's a long winding road, but the views will give you good company. Keep the cameras at the ready. DAY 1 Our trail today initially goes along the river and then finally starts climbing from the river bottom, some parts being quite steep. We camp just above the quaint village of Jhinji in a nice grassy patch and visit the village in the evening. DAY 2 The trail starts climbing up to the pass, crossing a lot of small tributary rivers and waterfalls including one which offers a great opportunity for a refreshing shower. After a steady climb, we arrive at a small pass called Ramni Pass (3,060 m), which offers views of Kuari Pass, and then finally we descend gradually to the meadows of Sem Kharak. From here, we descend down to the suspension bridge over the Birthi Ganga, then climb up again to the prosperous village of Pana. DAY 3 A few ascends, descends and traverses bring us close to the foot of the Kuari Pass. The trail comes out of the tree line and goes through the grazing grounds in the meadow country to reach Dhakwani. Tonight, we have the option to camp at Sartoli (2,980 m), just an hour and a half before Dhakwani.
