2. Genre The genre for total film is entertainment and information on recent films. The film magazine cover all the new upcoming movies and all the previous movies released. They have a six page spread which is about a particular director or actor, they also cover unknown film makers and unknown films which is what makes it different to Empire magazine. Target Audience Total Film aim their magazine towards film lovers who like to find out information about upcoming films or films that have been releasedrecently. The magazine includes interviews with the actors and directors themselves. So the target audience will be any age and any gender, the people who like to know more information about the films which are on screen and the people in the industry. The target audience is 15+ due to the fact that a lot of people like films in this age group. Layout and Typography The layout In Total Film is that they use a background picture and have the writing over the top, the style of writing used is picked to go over the picture and is aneasy understandable font. The colours used are outgoing as the picture in the main background is placed behind the the font and other colours are brighter to stand out. The main titles are in capitals and stand out slightly more than the others as they are bold.

3. Proposal I am going to producea unisex film magazine. The colour scheme I will use is going to be based around green, red, blue and black. The typography I will be using is bold and the graphics on the front page. The jobs I will focus on are Assistant Editor, Film Director, Ad Sales Manager, Camera Operator, Film & Production Volunteer and Casting Director

4. Summary of jobs Assistant Editor Their role is to make sure all the cutting room is all set up and that they are doing their own edit whilst helping the post production team. Film Director A film director’s job is to be able to change the script to an actual film and to the best quality possible. A film director has a lot of responsibilities, having to look after the actors the crew who are working all the equipment. Ad Sales Manager An advertising sales manager is one of the top sales in the business there job is to talk to many of clients about there advert also having to be able to negotiate with the customer as the job will be to guide the clients the right way. Camera Operator A camera operator or cameraman is one of the main roles in a film, they have all the camera equipment to look after, set up and make sure that they get all the right shots for the film. A cameraman works close to the director as they need to find out what the director what's in specific scenes and each shot, working as a team is essential when a camera operator. Film & Production Volunteer Film and production is unpaid voluntary work, which involves helping the camera crew and film team with all the shoots. They also help with all areas of the film and production, it opens doors for all the graduates who want a career in film production. Casting Director A casting director has a lot of responsibilities, having to sort all the actors, typing up all the forms etc. To find the perfect actors for the roles. They work closely with the producer. They are responsible for negotiating actors’ fees and drawing up their contracts.

5. Biography Summary Michael Kahn (film editor) Michael Kahn is on of the most successful film editors who has edited almost all of Steven Spielberg's films also other movies such as, The Goonies, Jurassic Park, Adventures of Tin Tin and War Horse. He has edited 68 titles from movies to television series, 2013 Nominated Oscar Best Achievement in Editing for Lincoln. Michael is one of the few left who edits on film, he uses a KEM and Movilioa.
