This project focuses on how interest groups influence the political process. Each group of 2-3 students will select an interest group and develop a creative PowerPoint presentation addressing essential questions. The presentation should be engaging and provide a one-page informational sheet as a study guide for an upcoming quiz. Students can choose from a range of established interest groups, such as the NRA, AARP, or Greenpeace. The goal is to explore the role of these groups in politics while ensuring a respectful and entertaining delivery.

This is a group project. There will be 2-3 people per group, no more no less. No petty group complaints after the fact. Select an interest group. There are plenty out there. Develop a PowerPoint that addresses the questions on the handout. You are going to be required to provide the class with an information sheet on your group. This should be no longer than one page. This will be used as a study guide for an upcoming interest group quiz. You need to be creative and present a fun and exciting presentation for the class. Do not overstep the bounds of decency however. Procedures
