  2. Past Alumni Assisted Programs: LAN, VLSI Lab, PDSIT Seminar Room, Endowed Chair, Scholarships, Emergency Fund, etc.

  3. VC’s Appeal to Global Alumni: • Create sponsored chairs • Fund each chair for 3 years • Invite recently retired or yet to retire internationally renowned academicians • to develop new programs and mentor junior faculty members

  4. Alumni Response to VC’s Appeal: • Plan to raise INR 9 lakhs for each 100% funded chair or INR 4.5 lakhs for 50% funded chair • At least 2 chairs in each department in the next 2-3 years • One chair (50% funded) ASAP • Pledge today for USD 10K / INR 5 lakhs

  5. Why Donate? Survival of BESU/BEC as we knew, is at stake. BEC nurtured us when we needed. We must help when BEC needs. Pride in helping Alma Mater’s revival. Opportunity to repay our debt to the society. Receive income tax benefits.
