People should know • Gray’s Lake Park… • Is one of American Planning Association’s “10 Great Public Spaces for 2011.” Previous winners include Central Park in NYC and Lincoln Park in Chicago • Hosts mixers, concerts, movies and special community events • Offers sailing lessons, yoga classes, bird watching sessions, bike and boat rentals, a concession stand and much, much more

  5. We’ll tell them With the Gray’s Lake Guide app for iPhone. • Register for classes and events • Reserve bikes and boats • Get the latest updates on special events • Browse upcoming calendar • Have up-to-date info on closings, maintenance, etc. • Learn about the park and its amenities

The website • Confusing, difficult to navigate, extraneous information, blank pages and lots of user frustration Other apps • They don’t exist, for Gray’s Lake or for any Iowa parks Des Moines Register • Doesn’t filter information down to exactly what users are looking for and the information is not always available

  7. Bring Dana to Gray’s Lake Park.
