Olympiad in London 2012

The 2012 London Olympics opened with a breathtaking ceremony at the Olympic Stadium, attended by 33,000 spectators from around the world. The Olympic symbols, including the iconic medals—gold, silver, and bronze—symbolized the spirit of competition. Our national team showcased remarkable talent, finishing IV overall. Notably, judoist Armen Galstyan earned our first gold medal, while our swimmers secured third in the 100 meters race. Our girls excelled in rhythmic gymnastics, capturing gold medals. Tatyana Lysenko also triumphed in athletics, marking a proud moment for our country.

  2. The Opening of the Olympiad • The opening of the Olympiad took place at the Olympic Stadium in London. There were 33000 people from different countries. Look! How magnificent sight it was! I wish I were there!

  5. OUR OLYMPIC SPORTSMEN • Our team took the IV place in the Olympic Games • Our judoist Armen Galstyan won the first gold medal for Our National team. Swimmers were the third in the race of 100 metres

  6. Two more victories Our girls took gold medals in rhythmic gymnastics. They are our proud! Russian sportsman Tatyana Lysenko won gold medal in athletics
