  1. Become a Foster Carer and Help Brighten a Child’s Future Many people ask this question as to why they should become a foster carer? The answer to that question is pretty simple; there are thousands of kids out on the streets in search of someone who can help them, care for them and give them a healthy environment to grow up in. The reasons why these children have been displaced from their homes are many; the parents are very sick and incapable of taking care of the children, they have been abused or harmed, or have been neglected by the parents and even in some heartbreaking cases the children have been rejected by the parents. The kids in need of foster care go through a lot of trauma every day but if they can be taken in by a capable and loving home they can have a bright future. This is the reason why organizations such as Pride Fostering are always in search of volunteers who can provide a good foster home for kids who need it. As a foster carer you would get fostering allowances from the local authorities or the Independent Fostering Agency you work with but more than, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you make a difference in a child’s life. Fostering a child when he or she needs it the most can completely change their lives. Many foster children have grown up to become very capable and successful individuals and they have given all the credit for this to the families who took them in when they were in the foster care. It is your turn now to make a difference.
