Roadrunners habitat Roadrunners live in the desert. They make their nests out of snake skin, sticks and leaves. Roadrunners build their nests on shrubs or cactus. A female roadrunner lays 5-8 eggs at a time!
What does the roadrunner look like? Theroadrunner has a dark, shaggy, head crest with tiny white spots, black eyes, a bare blue patch behind its eyes, a long dark brown bill, a tan belly, X shaped feet, long brown legs, brown and cream feathers and short rounded wings.
Fun Facts About Roadrunners .Roadrunners eat scorpions, lizards and small snakes. A roadrunner’s eyes are sometimes bigger than its stomach. A roadrunner can run up to 15 miles per hour.

What are they called? • Male peafowl are called peacocks. • Female peafowl are called peahens. • Baby peafowl are called peachicks.
Peafowl nests/ eggs • Peafowl nests are just a hole in the ground under a shrub or bush. The average amount of eggs a peahen lays is 5-8 eggs. The color of the eggs are light blue or light brown. The peafowl take turns with the eggs while one looks for food
