Levels and Sections of the NAT Exam: Complete Guide for Japanese Language Learners The Japanese Language NAT-TEST is one of the most popular Japanese proficiency exams among students and professionals in India. Designed on the same standards as the JLPT, the NAT-TEST evaluates a learner’s ability to understand, read, and listen to Japanese in real-life situations. What Is the Japanese Language NAT-TEST? The NAT-TEST is a standardized Japanese language proficiency examination conducted multiple times a year across different countries, including India. It evaluates vocabulary, kanji, grammar, reading comprehension, and listening skills and is widely accepted by Japanese language institutes and training centers. NAT-TEST Levels Overview 5Q – Beginner (JLPT N5) 4Q – Basic (JLPT N4) 3Q – Intermediate (JLPT N3) 2Q – Upper-Intermediate (JLPT N2) 1Q – Advanced (JLPT N1) Exam Sections by Level Levels 1Q and 2Q consist of Language Knowledge (Vocabulary, Grammar & Reading) and Listening sections.
