Property sites are a relatively newer concept as for decades buying and selling of real estate were done with the assistance of middlemen. Today, however, property sites have become indispensable yet middlemen have not lost ground since they look for opportunities online and haunt all the property sites they can. The role played by middlemen has strengthened since the rise of property sites in India. Middlemen today can reach ten times as many sellers than they could before there were property sites.
